Dear Members, last night we had a pleasant evening at the Salmon and Strawberry Dinner. I would like to take this opportunity to thank those who came along and more importantly for the committee members for the hard work on a hot day to produce a lovely meal. We have 14 bottles of wine remaining and those will be put aside for the visit next year. The raffle was a good success raising £59, so thank you, to all those who donated a prize. We also received and donation of £20 pounds from Allan and Jess Bradfield and Nigel and Carol Bunker as they could not attend. Our next dinning event will be in September at the Wilcove for a "French Connection, Theme Dinner" so find your "Beret" and dust it off!! as you are going to need it. It was good to see Roy Bright, up and about after his hospitalisation and would like to send a "get well wish" to Wally Scrimshaw, who has had a fall.
